115 Industrial Co-operative societies dealing in Industries as approved by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission are functioning under the control of Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board. The Chief Executive Officer of Tamilnadu Khadi and Village Industries Board acts as a Functional Registrar for these Co-operative societies. The accounts and other expenditure details are audited by the Co-operative audit department. During the year 2024-25 production to the tune of Rs.2867.10 lakhs and Sales to the tune of Rs.3342.38 lakhs was achieved by these societies. During the year 2025-26 production to the tune of Rs.2700.70 lakhs and Sales to the tune of Rs.2932.61 lakhs was achieved by these societies.
