The Hon’ble Minister for Handlooms Textiles and Khadi is the President of the Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board and the officials nominated by the Government are the members of the Board. The Board is responsible for taking major policy decisions in implementing the programmes. The day to day activities are being carried out by the Chief Executive Officer who is also a member in the Board. The main activities of the Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board hover around two important areas viz. Khadi and Village Industries.
